Catch Up #11-Happy Father's Day

I do have hope that some day I will be caught up with all of Cole's posts and writing blogs will be more fun because they will be current. Believe it or not, I believe we're almost there. Yes, I realize Father's Day was 3 months ago, but really, not much has happened within those 3 months. The end of Catch Up posts is in sight! :)

We spent Father's Day with Nana and Nandad at their house. It was a small family gathering with a visit from Auntie Cristen. Cole was delighted to find a new activity waiting for him at Nana and Nandad's. Nana bought Cole a kiddie pool so we spent a good hour or two outside letting Cole splash around in the water. We barbecued dinner, had a relaxing meal, and enjoyed one anothers' company. It was a great relaxing day spent with family (and friend). :)

Auntie Cristen and I happened to find a t-shirt for Cole that is very similar to one Adrien has so I kept it a surprise and asked Adrien to please wear his Super Man t-shirt to church for Father's Day. I know, I know, a t-shirt to church!!! But, when you see how cute they were, you'll forgive me. :)

Matchy Matchy!

Super Man! (Actually, that means Cole heard an airplane.)

Trying to drink the water from the spout.

Mommy asking Daddy if we should rotate the pool so the sun shines on the back not in the front. :) Nervous Nelly!

Playing with bath toys in the pool. Cole loves this little fishy pool!!!!

  1. :) I like the new background! And of course, I love the pool... I'm a pout-pout fish with a pout-pout face, and I spread the weary-drearys all over the place... blub...blub...blub......

    Love it!
