Fun with Cole

Hi. Hello. Yes, it's really me. Let's just leave it at that.

Back in March we did some fun things with Cole Man. He got some Duplo Legos to try (he was getting a bit bored with his train table... Who can blame him when that's all he played with since the day Ayla was born?) We put away the trains for a while and got a small box of Duplos and some Lincoln Logs. The Duplos were by far a bigger hit than the Lincoln Logs.

Cole and I decided to make a fort in the family room one day while Ayla was napping. I always try to find things to do with him that are fun but quiet to give Ayla the best chance to nap well. We sure had fun moving the couches around and figuring out where exactly to put the blankets. Then we watched a movie in the fort and read some books. I think Ayla napped over two hours that morning!!

We were invited to a birthday party for a one year old friend of ours. Ayla ended up napping later than usual so Cole and I went on our own. It was a mustache party...

P.S. Due to how far behind I am I put the metal to the medal today. I have written over a week's worth of updates and have scheduled them to post every day for the next week and a half or so. Check back every afternoon to see the newest post!!! Yay!
