Birthday Bash

Adrien and I had a lot of fun planning this year's birthday party. It seems the older Cole gets the more fun it is to plan. Probably because he is capable of showing more excitement for our secret themes. :) We had a small group of family and friends join us to celebrate Cole's third year. We chose a construction theme this year because Cole has been really into trucks and construction vehicles lately. So much so that he can name most common construction vehicles when we see them on the road or in books.

We love this display so much that we traded in some pictures of Ayla and it is now a permanent decoration in our dining room.

I forgot to take a picture of the table at the beginning of the party. The big truck had pretzels in it and the hard hat had chex mix or something. I loved finding cute ideas for this party!!
