It's Official!

I'm terrible at blogging. :) I guess I'm going to have to start small and say my goal right now is to get 2 posts in a month. That will be one more than I've been averaging. Cole's nearing 11 month birthday is biting at my heals which is why I am quickly trying to squeeze this one in! Tomorrow our little man will be 11 months. I can hardly believe it! We are watching all his little buddies turn one between today and March 23rd. Then it's Cole's turn-NO WAY!!!! I realized this past weekend that I hadn't put up Cole's 10 month doggy photo. I'm so behind this isn't even funny anymore. Now, don't expect the 11 month photo tomorrow, but I will try to get it up within a week. Baby steps, people, baby steps.

Now then, in the last month Cole has been developing like mad! He can feed himself off a fork (video below), walk with a musical walker (also available on video below although it is more for memory sake than entertainment because it is a bit slow paced), and he'd beginning to stand on his (you guessed it, video below). Unfortunately, I've done a terrible job taking photos this month-but we have a ton of videos!!! :)

We enjoyed Cole's first Valentine's Day, in which he wore a terrific heart shaped bib. You will find a few photos that show Cole's thoughts on that accessory. We've also been taking trips to Target just to get out of the house, have had some play dates with our buddy Benji, and spent another week with Nana and Nandad while Daddy was working hard.

Cole's been chattering quite a bit but really doesn't have any words yet. He does say "da-da" and "ma-ma" although not specifically to one person yet. We also believe he's trying to say "book" since every time we say it or he looks at the book shelf he says "buh buh" and points! Cole learned to say "milk" in sign language and is also waving with his hand and his entire arm at times. It's been such a fun month watching Cole learn to do so many new things. Enjoy the videos and photos.

10 months with Doggy!

Cole's lovely bib...

...

...

He never did manage to pull it off but boy was it funny watching him try!
I was crying from laughing so hard!!!

Wasting time at Target-we like the mirror aisle!

My son pulled this box out so he could stand on it to reach something!
Sneaky sneaky

Lunch at Panera with Nana and Mommy. Cole got to try Black Bean Soup. :)

I was so annoyed when Cole first started pulling all the books off the shelf.

This is his new favorite thing to do!

But then he 'reads' them!!!!

We were invited to a costume birthday party. I got this robot costume for $0.99!!!!
The party was canceled! :( But for a dollar I kept it just for a great photo.

Walking with his new musical walker.
He's a bit faster now but I haven't been able to video him.

Beginning to stand on his own and learning how to put the blocks in the hole!

My new favorite!!!
