I Made It!

See, if I put my mind to it, I can accomplish it. I promised you an updated post within a week of the last one. I may be cutting it close, but I did it!

I believe I also promised you Cole's 11 month doggy picture. I've done one better; I've given you the doggy photo shoot. Getting Cole to pose lying down with Doggy is proving more and more difficult. Pretty soon he'll be standing and holding Doggy!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!!

We also managed to get some other great photos and videos in the past 7 days so I'm excited to share those with you. Cole has some great firsts this week: first trip to the park, first pair of shoes, and first St. Patrick's Day!

I must share on story with you regarding Cole's new shoes. Now that's it's nicer outside Cole doesn't have to wear his big full body snow suit anymore, he has a cute little windbreaker jacket. :) But I feel like when we're in public (Target, Panera, church, etc.) it's weird for him to just have socks on. So, I decided this week I would try to buy him an inexpensive pair of shoes just for wearing out of the house. Well, Nana and I were desperately trying to find a pair of shoes that would fit Cole. We tried three or four styles of shoes that Target carries and couldn't get a single pair even on Cole's foot! A very nice, experienced mother who was also shoe shopping recommended he may need half sizes or wide shoes and we should try a place called Big and Little. It's a local shoe store that specializes in fitting kids for the right shoe. How fun! Come to find out our tiny, "underweight" Cole needs a DOUBLE WIDE shoe!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! So, we walked out of Big and Little with a very spiffy (pretty expensive) pair of shoes that fit Cole's double wide foot just great. :)

The Doggy Photo Shoot
Check out those top teeth-I'm lovin' the gap!!!

No, that won't work.

You're cute but that's not right either.

Oh, hello!

Whoa! Grabby grabby!

Maybe like this? Still not right...

Closer...

That's the best we got! :)

Cole's new shoes (next to Mommy's for size comparison).

First time in the swing, not so sure....

Loving it now. He was drinking in the air!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

And one just because we love bath time so much (still)!!!

While I was running Cole's bath today, he started crawling into the bathroom in a very new way. I imagine he was trying to protect his knees. I tried to get him to do it again but he didn't do it as long as he did the first time. Still funny to watch though!

Our new favorite game! I love his laugh. :)

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE!!!
