Cole Funnies

During my second year of teaching I had a student I absolutely adored. He was a tiny little pipsqueak of a kid with a great personality. He used to say funny things to me almost on a daily basis so about halfway through the school year I started writing down all the funny things he said or did. Lately, Cole has been saying or doing some pretty funny things so I thought it would be fun to share some of those things with you. This way I will always have them here to help me remember!

*Adrien has been teaching Cole who Santa is. Once Cole started recognizing Santa visually Adrien taught him that Santa says, "ho ho ho". When we see a Santa picture or statue somewhere Cole says "Santa! Ho ho". The other night Adrien tried to correct Cole, here's how the conversation went.

Adrien- Cole, it's not ho ho, it's ho ho ho.
Cole- Santa ho ho
Adrien- No, it's three ho's - ho ho ho
Cole- Santa, three ho ho!

Now Cole says, "Santa, three ho ho" whenever he sees Santa!

*A couple months ago Adrien had a bump we thought was a spider bite. He showed Cole his spider bite and ever since then, whenever we mention spiders or Cole sees a bump on his or someone else's skin, he says "bider bite". The other day, he passed gas and he told Cole it was a barking spider. Over the course of the next couple days, every time someone farted he would ask Cole if he heard the barking spider. This past weekend, Adrien's stomach made a really loud gurgling noise (also not uncommon). Cole looked up at him and said, "bider bite!"
