Last weekend my cousin, Dan, got married (to Katie) in beautiful Door County!! Katie is from Door County so even though it felt like a destination wedding to us, it was a home wedding for her. :) We stayed at a very cool resort, called the Landmark, in Egg Harbor. The highlight for me was getting to see [most] of my mom's side of the family. We were missing some folks but it was great to catch up with two sets of aunts and uncles, my cousins, and MY Nana!!! The highlight for Cole was getting to swim Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday. The resort had 3 or 4 pools, one of which was indoors and happened to be attached the building we stayed in. Daddy and Nandad took Cole down to the pool to swim on Friday pretty much right after we arrived. Then Saturday, the guys went golfing so Nana, G-Nana (Great Nana), Cole, and I had some time together. We decided to take him to the pool again. Nana and Nandad bought Cole an inner tube from the vending machine-yes, the snack vending machine. :) It was fun for him to be able to float around and kick his legs and I appreciated not having to hold him the whole time!
We had our camera with us the whole weekend and would you guess the ONLY thing we took pictures of was Cole in the pool!?! We don't have any photos of the beautiful scenery, the wedding, or all of our family together! Bummer! But now I do have pool photos to show you how much Cole LOVES swimming. :)
