Catch Up #3-ZOO!

Adrien and I decided a few weeks ago that it would be great to have a family pass to Brookfield Zoo. For us that means free admission for all three of us, a free guest every visit, free parking, additional guest passes, and some tickets for free admission to the dolphin show. We hemmed and hawed and finally decided it would be worth the expense and we are now proud owners of a Brookfield Zoo family pass. Anyone want to go to the zoo this summer, let us know! :)

While Adrien's parents were here we were able to enjoy our first trip to Brookfield Zoo. We had a great time watching Cole experience all these new things for the first time. We only managed to see about 1/3 of the park that day due to time but we so enjoyed our time as a family. And because it was early April there were hardly any people there-it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! We have since returned for our 2nd trip and saw a different third of the park so one more trip and Cole will have seen it all! I'm really looking forward to frequenting the zoo this summer either on our own or with friends. What a great way to get outside, get some exercise, and see different things. They may always have the same animals but they may not always be doing the same things! :) Check out our photos.

Waiting to eat lunch-our first stop at Brookfield.
(Note to self: Pack lunch next time!)
