Catch Up #1-Haircut

So, I guess I've been neglecting my blog lately. I think right now I have a lot to write about and so the task seems daunting. I decided to break up one giant post into a few mini posts. That way I won't be so overwhelmed and you won't be stuck reading one post for your entire afternoon. :) So, let's rewind to the end of March.

March 25 I decided Cole needed a little haircut. I'd been trying to hold out until he turned one, basically because getting a haircut sounded so grown up! He really only needed a trim around the perimeter of his hair line but I thought it would be a good idea to take Cole to a professional. I looked into it a little bit and found the cutest place called Pigtails and Crewcuts. They had little cars and airplane seats for the kids to sit in and they specialized in children's hair care. Well, it cost $17.00!!!! After some hemming and hawing, I watched a few YouTube videos, read some online articles, and set up shop on the living room. With Adrien's help in distracting Cole, I managed to give Cole his first haircut. It required cartoons, remote controls, and cell phones for Cole to play with. Cole did really well; it really only took about 10 minutes at the most. I did OK but now I know for next time what I need to do differently. As long as Cole doesn't need his whole head of hair cut, I'm the woman for the job! :) Enjoy the before and after photos!
