I'm caught up to the average baby

Today Cole had his 3 week check-up with his hot european doctor. He likes her accent. At the last appt (4/21) Cole had passed his birth weight weighing in at 6lb 7oz. Well, in the past 2 weeks, this eating machine put on an amazing 24oz to bring his weight to 7lb 15oz! The average weight of a newborn at birth is 7lbs 14oz.  I guess Mommy doesn't need to worry about his eating habits anymore. We did notice this weekend that his thighs are "fat" and his newborn diapers are starting to get a little tight. Cole and Mommy are doing fine- just trying to get used to getting up every couple hours at night.

This is Cole at 12days sitting next to his friend Ethan. Ethan is about a month old here. I hope they don't get in a fight because Ethan's 12lbs would smush Cole's 6.5lbs

1st actual water bath (non-sponge) on 4/22. Cole did great- very calm. He still loves his bath time, especially when we wrap him in his towel so he can pee on Mommy.
