At the beginning of June I was feeling so overwhelmed with life. Cole was such a challenge, I was feeling weighed down by commitments and the day to day activities I had to take care of. After venting to "Auntie Cristen" she suggested a short weekend away to Galena just us girls. So June 23rd we packed up her mom's minivan and took off to Cristen's aunt and uncle's vacation home in Galena. We had a blast!! We had Ayla with us as well as Cristen's dog Kylie (girls only!!). We spent one whole day in Galena and two nights there. We did some shopping, root beer tasting, a lot of walking, and of course, time to relax. Thanks for the great time away Cristen!!!
