18 Month Fun

Our little 'baby' is officially a year and a half old. I can't believe it; Cole is now closer to 2 than he is 1. Every day Cole seems more and more like a little boy and less of a baby. He is certainly developing his own personality: loving, curious, intelligent, and very strong willed.

This has been a very fun month for us. Cole is learning so many things and surprising us all the time with how much he really takes in. We are up to 22 words in sign language, I have no idea how many words he can say-he seems to say everything, he can identify 13 letters of the alphabet, knows all 8 colors of crayons in his Crayola box, and can identify a star and an oval.

Cole and Dug!

OK, story before video. Last Friday, Nana came to watch Cole while Mommy cleaned the church. Cole and Nana went for a walk with Cole's ball. Cole tried to pic up bird poop off the sidewalk so Nana told Cole it was "ew" and to cover it with a leaf. An old man stopped to talk to them and Cole pointed out the monster on his onesie. They did and saw lots of other things as well. Listen carefully and you will learn what they did on their walk. By the way, the video was recorded Saturday, the day after all this happened. Also, when Nana asks Cole what he threw down the stairs, it's his ball. When he heard the question just now on the video, he said "ball" and went and grabbed it!
