Adrien has been out of town again this week so Cole and I are bunking at my parents' house again! We've had a lot of fun together. We've had play dates with Auntie Carol, Caden, and Ethan, and we've had a shopping day with Auntie Cristen. We've also done a great job distracting Nandad from his work (so much so he went to his office to work today instead of working from home)!
Cole is on his way to some pretty fun things! One skill he is currently working on is rolling over from has back to his tummy. I've taken a few pictures of his progress. It's pretty neat. We also celebrated his 4 month birthday this week.
While visiting Nana and Nandad, I decided that Cole and I do not have enough pictures taken of the two of us. Nandad took a few on Cole's 4 month b-day and hopefully we'll have a few more before the week is over.
Last week our church hosted a basketball camp for 3rd through 8th grade boys in our area. I helped all three days with the food prep and monitoring hallways/bathrooms. Cole had to come with me since Daddy was working hard recruiting people. Cole did a great job all three days. He got to play with some of our church friends, took lots of mini naps in his Bjorn and his stroller, and he learned all about basketball! :)
Like I said, Cole is on his way to some pretty great things. We're all still enjoying his already mastered skills as well. He smiles almost all the time now! He laughs a bit more readily these days too. He's really getting a strong neck and even though he doesn't love Tummy Time, he certainly lasts a lot longer on his belly now! It's so fun to see Cole go through all these changes. School starts back up in a week and all I can say is I am so thankful that God has given Adrien and I the gift of me being able to stay at home. Just the thought of what it would be like to leave Cole Man everyday to go teach makes me so sad. God has truly blessed our family!
This is how Cole fell asleep in his Bjorn carrier at the basketball camp. :)
Crazy Hair Day!!
Laughing with Nana!
Playtime with Mommy :)
Tummy Time!
Four months with Doggy!
Cole now tries to eat Doggy. :)
I am so glad that you are introducing Cole to basketball at an early age. That is Josh's favorite thing to play right now (and has been for a few months now). It's a little crazy obsessive though. Whenever we visit my parents' house and he sees the basketball hoop on the garage, he has to stop and play. We also had to get him a Little Tikes hoop for our house too! I know Cole won't be able to play along with Josh this September when you come to visit, but someday they will love playing basketball together in the yard! Yay!! :) You look great, too, by the way, and I'm glad you were able to have some pics taken with Cole Man. Yeah, as moms we're usually the ones clicking all the pics and never get a chance to get in one!
