So, once again I find myself many months behind on this little blog of ours. I better get going on catching up because soon I'll have even less time than I do now. (I'll explain why later.) I'm actually writing this one from my phone at 5:20 AM while trying to get Ayla back to sleep.
Anyway-Thanksgiving. The week of Thanksgiving was exciting because we had some visitors come to meet Ayla and to see Cole. We Skype with these visitors every couple of weeks but had not seen them in person for a couple years. Needless to say, we were excited. Grandpa and Grandma came from Virginia to see us!! We got to show them all our cool toys, play with new toys, read books, have some cuddle time, and enjoy catching up. Thanks for coming to see us Grandpa and Grandma!
We were invited to spend Thanksgiving Day with some friends of ours and their families. It was wonderful to be included in a family celebration. The food was amazing and the company was a lot of fun. It was a bit weird to do Thanksgiving with two kids. This year we couldn't sit around for endless hours watching TV and grazing on left overs. We pushed nap time off as long as we could so we could enjoy pie and then had to skidaddle on home for naps. :) Someday we'll be able to get back to the grazing portion of Thanksgiving.
Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade-first time!!
Cole got to lick a beater from the homemade whipped cream! Yum!!
